5” Stretchy Finn

By JoshB on January 23, 2012

Finn the Human One of the benefits of having grade-school children is that I get to keep up on the kids cartoons without feeling creepy. Their current favorite is a show on Cartoon Network called “Adventure Time” created by Pendelton Ward. It’s a subversive, surreal cartoon about a human boy named Finn and his dog Jake in the land of Ooo.

Love Machine

By JoshB on January 06, 2012

Love Machine Love Machine is a really interesting figure. It’s hard to explain, but there are a lot of interesting things going on here that make it quite different from any other figma. If you watch how Love Machine moves in Summer Wars, you can see that the character has a very unique way of moving. This figure uses a unique combination of joints to showcase this unique style.

Admiral Akainu

By chachipower on May 17, 2011

Admiral Akainu Admiral Akainu is just one of those people you would hate to be enemies with. Not only is he tall, but he is able to turn himself into magma if need be. He is from the One Piece Figuarts Zero line of figures. Zero meaning Zero articulation. Let's take a look.

Marshall D. Teach

By chachipower on May 14, 2011

Marshall D. Teach I love pirates, there is something cool about them. Especially when they look like this guy. He's very much how you would picture a typical pirate without going overboard. He hasn't any hooks for hands or table legs for his missing legs. But he does have a black beard. Hence his A.K.A- Blackbeard. We're here to check out his Figuarts Zero release. Zero meaning zero articulation.

Red-Haired Shanks

By chachipower on April 22, 2011

Red-Haired Shanks If you can set aside the limitations of these figures and enjoy them for what they are, you can create some cool scenes with the One Piece S.H. Figuarts as they are the same scale.

S.H. Figuarts Portgas D. Ace

By Dkun on March 16, 2011

S.H. Figuarts Portgas D. Ace This is an excellent Figuart and great for any One Piece fan, or anyone who just wants a shirtless guy covered in flames.

Nicholas D Wolfwood All things considered, its not a bad figure.

The Wallflower: The Complete Series

By Showapop on October 05, 2009

Most of my anime collection consists of locating programs I watched as a kid from the 1960’s though the 1980’s or recent landmark anime films or TV series. The downside of this is that I am hardly exposed to different types of anime outside that circle. When the opportunity arose to review a recent Funimation’s DVD anime release I jumped at the opportunity, the best part being I was not familiar with any of the titles.
